Job Description: The Celiac Disease Foundation has an immediate opportunity for a remote Product Manager, Clinical Operations – Scientific Affairs. This new position will serve as the technical product manager, expert user, and advocate for the software systems and services that comprise the iRecruitCeliac.org platform. The Product Manager, Clinical Operations - Scientific Affairs will partner with clinical and operational leaders to plan, design, and implement global recruitment services for clinical trials and studies. This role will lead various phases of the product development cycle from idea through business case/value proposition, design, implementation, launch, and post-launch evaluation. Additionally, this role will incorporate and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the reach of our services.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Product Management: Manage the technical aspects of the iRecruitCeliac.org platform, ensuring systems and services meet the needs of clinical operations and scientific affairs.
- User Advocacy: Act as the expert user and advocate for the software systems, ensuring they provide optimal functionality and user experience.
- Collaborative Planning: Partner with clinical and operational leaders to plan, design, and implement global recruitment services for clinical trials and studies.
- Product Development Cycle: Contribute to the product development cycle, from ideation through business case/value proposition, design, implementation, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our reach. Identify opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and close sales deals.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development, recruitment, and sales strategies.
- Business Specifications: Draft initial business specifications based on stakeholder requirements and business goals for IT team.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute UAT plans to validate that the product meets business requirements and is ready for launch.
- User Training: Design and deliver training programs for users to ensure they can effectively utilize the platform and services.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical partners, community members, and cross-functional teams, to gather feedback and prioritize initiatives,
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for products and services. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling messaging and promotional campaigns for services, ensuring effective communication to target audiences.
- Customer Support: Oversee customer support processes to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in successfully managing product development, sales, and client relationships.
- Experience with translating user needs into requirements for process, functional, and technical enhancements.
- Strong understanding of market research, product development, and clinical trial recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the celiac community.
