Account Manager

The Account Manager’s mission is to serve as the Company’s primary liaison with clients and accurately handle a high volume of hospitality services. By demonstrating an expert understanding of our hospitality service platform and their client’s needs an Account Manager will also be able to identify opportunities to meet key Company growth and retention goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately handles a large volume of hospitality service orders a year with minimal supervision and excellent attention to detail. The process is inclusive of proactive client communication, preparing proposals and final invoices, researching tradeshows and client business information, as well as supporting key logistics items for each order.

• Prioritizes key tasks and working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Demonstrates knowledge of our client goals and CAL’s service platform by proactively recommending hospitality services to meet client objectives

• Prepares hospitality service client presentations in PowerPoint and Excel to support key Company goals

• Successfully communicates CAL’s value proposition and our various hospitality platforms to prospective new clients

• Owns all Customer Relation Management (“CRM”) data entry for assigned accounts and hospitality orders

• Serves as mentor to new team members via training meetings and reviews and regular support as needed

• Supports 6-8 hospitality events a year at locations throughout North America

Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• A track record of solving problems, preferably in a client facing role

• A can-do attitude, willingness to learn from others, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and proactively close out open items

• Comfort with math and ability to accurately calculate proposals, invoices, and supply worksheets

• A bachelor’s degree

• Experience working with a CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in a professional setting.
Experience with Quickbooks is a plus.

• 2+ years of professional experience preferably in a sales and or marketing function

• Hospitality background in hotels, convention centers, tradeshows, event management, or catering companies is a plus

• Ability to travel to locations across the United States for multi-day hospitality events

• Due to client restrictions, candidates cannot have visible tattoos or facial piercings.
