ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a creative, well-organized, and fearless marketing generalist to join our growing marketing & client success team.

 

If you enjoy solving interesting problems, working in fast-paced environments, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pet families across the country, this is the position for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a generalist, you’ll need to be comfortable flexing between different disciplines to meet the needs of the business. Core tasks include:

 

  • Project management – You’re comfortable scoping out projects (deadlines, deliverables, etc) and leading an initiative through conception, planning, execution, and reporting. You’re a confident operator and can effectively communicate priorities to your cross-functional team members. You understand how to influence your peers in order to get things done. RASCI is your best friend. 

  • Product marketing – You’re experienced in crafting and communicating a product's value and benefits to a variety of audiences. You’ve created strategies that drive demand, adoption, and overall success of the product in market.

  • Event management – From managing logistics for swag and staffing to attending conferences and talking with prospects, you are invigorated by spending time in the field.

  • Customer engagement & support – You’re comfortable developing and delivering presentations, one-pagers, postcards, and other employee engagement collateral.

  • Content creation – You’re proficient in writing emails, blogs, and other short form content to engage with employee pet parents to educate them on the value of their Airvet benefit. Bonus points if you have a background in lifecycle marketing.

  • Making a positive difference for pet and pet parents – We’re a small but mighty team with a big mission. Your work will have a tangible and direct impact on the success of Airvet and the lives of pet parents across the country.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?

  • 5+ years of marketing experience across a variety of disciplines, such as content marketing, brand management, demand generation, and growth marketing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. A great project manager.

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively tackle strategic initiatives and immediate business needs.

  • Must love pets!

 

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in the employee benefits space

  • Previous experience working at high-growth start-ups

  • Familiarity with Braze, Canva, & HubSpot
