Small Business - Regional Business Lead & Account Executive

Airvet is actively creating a new benefits category - telehealth for pets.  We already have traction among mid- and larger employers, and now we are looking for a super-intelligent, scrappy, metrics-driven person to create and drive our new small business unit.  You can build this new business line and sell our proven service that employees love (users rate us 4.9/5 stars).  



Airvet offers an enterprise-level pet telehealth service that provides employees unlimited access to 24/7 video visits and chats, connecting pet parents with licensed veterinarians within minutes and covers everything from simple pet care questions to urgent and emergency pet health concerns. What Will I Do?

We’re glad you asked. The short answer is that you will own the SMB Market and use every legal strategy and tactic available to get employers to sign up with Airvet. The slightly longer answer is that you will: 


  • Prospect & Sell

    • Identify and contact companies with 100-3K employees

    • Develop trusting relationships with benefits and HR leaders to move deals through to close

    • Consistently meet and exceed weekly activity goals and monthly quotas of closed-won business

    • Partner closely with sales leadership to optimize deal flow from lead to close

    • Maintain a clear sales cadence while consistently and accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement, including inputting all activity in Airvet’s chosen CRM tool (e.g., Hubspot) 

  • Learn

    • Identify customer needs through strategic dialogues with SMB targets and stakeholders.

    • Learn how the benefits buying process and how to win deals

    • Keep abreast of market intelligence and competitive information to provide an expert point of view to prospects and customers 

  • Collaboratively build 

    • Process - how do we get from the first conversation to a decision with as few steps as possible?  Which metrics should we monitor?

    • Internal partnerships - What marketing will help you succeed?  Do you need updates to the website?  What else?  How do you prioritize your requests to align with available resources?

  • Startup and lean sales model experience (a plus)  Highly collaborative and able to build trusting internal and external relationships 

  • Resourceful and very good at prioritizing tasks and a  sales pipeline.

  • Process - you love it!  You love creating it.

  • Metrics - they’re your best friend!  You do everything to drive metrics.

Additional Information:


The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across California and Colorado. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


California: Salary range is $100,000 - $120,000  plus bonus
