About the Role 

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with the senior leadership team to forecast and communicate company financial performance, plan for the future, and identify key business trends, opportunities, and weaknesses via financial and operational data.

  • You will execute all financial planning functions for the business including the annual financial plan, monthly and quarterly re-forecasts
  • Develop and manage 5 year business model
  • Perform financial reporting and analysis including but not limited to actual versus plan, versus prior year, and versus benchmark metrics
  • Develop metrics and partner with business peers to drive improved performance
  • Prepare and document and present annual expense plans to multiple levels of leadership in the organization
  • Focus on automating recurring analysis with a goal of spending more time evaluating and communicating opportunities and meaningful trends, and less time preparing analysis and information over time
  • Provide insight into how the business is performing, including deep and meaningful guidance on translating trends and key developments into strategies which will drive profitable growth
  • Partner with business leaders to develop bottoms-up expense budgets and provide ongoing support resulting in an enhanced understanding of the key drivers of their business’ productivity and expenses
  • Track expenses and headcount vs plan, analyze and communicate variances and impacts
  • Build models to effectively articulate productivity to expense ratios for supported businesses and provide future insight based on knowledge of the business
  • Design, maintain, document, and update Workforce Planning models and platforms to enable business partners to effectively manage their variable headcount
  • Utilize data, forecasting and planning to anticipate and addresses business needs for variable headcount
  • Develop and manage a 13 week cash forecast model
  • Work with Corporate Controller on monthly close and reporting
  • Review and analyze M&A opportunities
  • Conduct adhoc financial analysis on organic and inorganic growth opportunities
  • Prepare presentations for CFO and Executive Leadership Team

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required. CPA required
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of progressive FP&A experience
  • Team building and management experience with M&A Experience
  • Experience setting up systems at a growing company
  • A willingness to roll up their sleeves and get in the details
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to stakeholders and influence decision making
  • A business partner who is skilled in building trust and inspiring others while ramping up in a new business and role in a complex environment
  • The ability to analyze the key drivers of the business model, including economics of expansion strategies and other ad hoc projects.
  • Systems/Tools: Advanced skills with MS Office-Excel, PowerPoint and Word. ERP system knowledge (Sage, NetSuite, Hyperion, and related), including moving from one ERP system to another

OncoHealth is primarily looking for someone to work in the Atlanta or Boston areas, but we are open to other Eastern time zones!

Our Current Solutions

Through the use of OncoHealth's utilization management system, OneUM, our customers can use a single e-Prior Authorization portal for all oncology drug request and treatments. Our system improves quality of care, reduces provider abrasion and gives health plans visibility into the total cost of oncology treatment.   

OncoHealth offers Oncology Insights Pro, an analytic software solution that enables health plans to use data and analytics to improve oncology programs.  Using real world data, our engineers normalize data to create analytic dashboards with drill down compatibilities.  The data is the paired with expert guidance providing the strategies an insight needed to keep up with the continuing evolving cancer treatment landscape.   

OncoHealth offers Pharmacy Consulting services to health plans and pharmaceutical companies.  New cancer treatments are entering the market at an unrelenting pace.  Since 2018, the FDA approved 121 new cancer applications including 49 novel cancer drug entities.  Our Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacologists can help health plans update drug policies, offer utilization management and formulary advice, and development training for staff.
