We are a small medical device company seeking a motivated Inventory Analyst to handle all aspects of our inventory system. You will be responsible for almost $3 million of inventory located both on-site and nationwide. We are in search of someone who is detail-oriented, will perform effectively with minimal supervision, and will be an efficient multi-tasker with strong organizational and logistics skills. This position will work closely with our small team of accountants, engineers, QA, and upper management. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree and will have at least 2 years of experience with inventory systems or a related field. Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus, but is not required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains inventory by utilizing a computer database and a manual log.
- Coordinates an inventory count at least once per year.
- Requests vendor quotes and expected delivery dates for inventory being purchased.
- Receives incoming product, and moves product within the system.
- Ensures incoming items are inspected for correctness, quantity, type, and damages.
- Receives, fills, and ships orders/restocks for all reps/distributors.
- Distributes supplies, informational brochures, bone models, trade show booth items, etc., to sales force, as needed.
- Coordinates and maintains recalibration schedules of applicable instruments.
- Prepares, enters, and files necessary paperwork to ensure proper documentation of inventory movement.
- Reports inventory quantities and needs on a regular basis.
- Other duties, as directed by supervisor or upper management.
