ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Senior Leadership Team, with the Identification, Selection and Execution of Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Conduct Kaizen events on multiple departments: Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.
- Work directly with all levels of the organization to develop and implement process improvements.
- Elaborate implementation plans for identified improvements.
- Train and coach employees at all levels of the organization on Lean concepts such as:
- Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poke Yoke, Basic Statistics for Business
- Thorough understanding of the DMAIC methodology.
- Travel up to 80% domestic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; Degree in Operations, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience deploying implementing and maintaining Continuous Improvement programs.
- Preferably in Large Fulfillment centers and/or Logistics and/or Manufacturing.
- Green or Black Belt certification and/or Lean Manufacturing Certification.
- If not certified, willing to complete certification requirements within 6 months of hiring date.
- Excellent analytical skills including Advanced Excel to analyze and visualize data.
- Experience with Minitab and/or Power BI and/or Python is a plus.
- Experience conducting Kaizen events and implementing process improvements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak Spanish language is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels.
