Summary

The Director of Credit and Collection and AP will lead the team of Senior Accountants and A/P & A/R Associates to ensure that all functions related to the accounting transactions, vendor payments and GAAP requirements are followed completely and efficiently. In addition, this manager will have primary responsibility for coordination of activities and collection of information required for KSI’s audit and will play a leadership role in strategic initiatives such as implementation of GetPaid, re-structuring of KSI’s AR and AP organizations and development of a Field Controller Organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Manage the day-to-day activity of the A/P and A/R teams
  • Record General Ledger Journal entries to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and other related reports as needed
  • Ensure proper coverage and timely processing for all accounting functions including approvals on Accounts Payable payment selection, employee expense reports and fixed asset management
  • Manage all tax reporting and filing for various local, State and Federal authorities in conjunction with our external tax return preparers
  • Lead and coordinate annual financial audits in coordination with our external auditors
  • Assist with budgeting process
  • Provide insight and assistance to the FP&A team
  • Assist with year-end annual reports and yearly tax package
  • All other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
  • Coordinating and planning government reporting and filing requirements
  • Reviewing and approving Daily cash activity analysis and processing including but cash reconciliation and domestic and international wire/ACH transfer requests
  • Ensuring adherence to governance and oversight reporting requirements of various KSI stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution; Degree in Accounting or related discipline
  • CPA/CMA and other accounting and credit- related certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience

 Compensation Package and Perks:

  • Competitive Salary Range Based on Experience Level: $110,000-$125,000 base salary
