BEKO Technologies, Corp is currently hiring for a Jr. Technical Service Specialist. The Jr. Technical Service Specialist is a hands-on technician, focused on testing, calibration and repair of dryers. He/she will provide support to new and existing customers for compressed air treatment products through phone and email support. This position requires to travel on occasion for training but will not be more than 5% of the time and the person will work from the company’s headquarters in Atlanta. Areas of Responsibility: 

  • For all areas of support, customers can come in the form of internal as well as external based. Most customers for this role will be internal but this role will act as part-time customer technical support by phone contact & email. 

  • Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts, such as refrigerant compressors, valves, or controllers.  

  • Inspects and tests malfunctioning equipment, following manufacturers and Company’s specifications, and using test and analysis instruments.  

  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with Company air treatment equipment in a designated workshop area.  

  • Supports internal and external customers in performing part identification using SAP. 

  • Performs in-house calibration as needed for specialty dew point sensors. 

  • Track all service calls and ensure accurate data entry into CRM or call management tool, opening & closing orders. 

  • Completion and tracking of all QM tickets and cases as required. 

  • Provide data to support written reports as necessary or from the customer as requested.  

  • Assists the customer from the initial call to the end solution in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner.  

  • Process warranty & claim services according to MRP requirements and MRO purchase requests for equipment needed for the Service area. 

  • Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment over the phone. 

  • Support Technical Service Training to BEKO distributors as required. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze product warranty. 

  • Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills. 

Necessary Skills: 

  • Background of a service technician or engineering background 

  • Must be able to read and understand, schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and P&ID diagrams.  

  • Electrical troubleshooting and understanding of elementary motor control circuits 

  • Problem solving to identify analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner 

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
