BEKO Technologies Corp. is the U.S. subsidiary of BEKO Technologies GmbH, which was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Neuss, Germany.  BEKO USA has been manufacturing and selling BEKO products throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America since 1991.  The American headquarters is located in Atlanta, GA and outside of the German parent Company; it is by far the largest subsidiary and manufacturing location within the BEKO Group as well as the fastest growing one.

The Service Manager will provide overall strategic direction and tactical support to new and existing customers for compressed air treatment products and systems.  He will have supervision responsibility for 2 people at this time. This position requires to travel at least 20% but not more than 25% and the person will work from the companies headquarter in Atlanta. Given the BEKO’s strong team oriented work environment, BEKO is strongly interested in dynamic, unique and driven individuals who can work within this environment.

 Areas of Responsibility:

  • Document and analyze technical or service issues using BEKO Technical Management database
  • Utilize BEKO Technical Management database to understand, resolve open issues, track performance trends and or failures regarding products and or vendor supplied products
  • Utilize BEKO Technical Management database findings for warranty prevention by developing documented proposals for the research and development teams
  • Provide Technical Service Training to BEKO distributors and BEKO staff members as required
  • Communicate consistently with the Sales Department with pertinent customer issues
  • Process warranty services according to MRP requirements and MRO purchase requests.
  • Startups and/or start up training for special projects
  • Provide leadership for the Technical and Warranty Team including setting direction and deployment of resources to provide technical support to Distributors, End-users, and the Sales Team
  • Bring strategic and tactical solutions through product and market understanding to support the Company and customer
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze product warranty
  • Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge and experience in customer orders, shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions.
  • Advanced degree in related discipline, preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience (preferred in the compressed air industry or related industries such as HVAC)
  • Experience managing a department or team

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Refrigeration experience in dehydration technology for compressed air treatment    
  • Engineering or Technical degree
  • Air Treatment experience

 

Necessary Skills:

  • Background of a service technician or engineering background
  • Manager Skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting and understanding of elementary motor control circuits
  • Network and communication protocol knowledge
  • Trainer background    
  • Problem solving to identify analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
  • Speak clearly and persuasively; group presentation skills and conduct meetings
  • Willingness and ability to make timely decisions, using sound and accurate judgment
  • Prioritize and plan work activities and develop realistic action plans
  • Analytical ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
