Position Description:
The Technical Service Specialist will provide support to new and existing customers for compressed air treatment products and systems. This position requires occasional travel and will work from the companies headquarter in Atlanta.

Areas of Responsibility:
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with Company air treatment equipment through telephone and Internet support.
Track all Service Calls; accurate data entry into CRM, opening & closing orders and cases.
Assists the customer from the initial call to the end solution in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner.
Inspects and tests malfunctioning equipment, following manufacturers and Company’s specifications and using test and analysis instruments.
Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts, such as refrigerant compressor, valves, or controller.
Process warranty services according to MRP requirements and MRO purchase requests.
Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment over the phone.
Startups and/or start up training for special projects.
Must be able to read and understand, schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, air flow sheets and P&ID diagrams.
Provide Technical Service Training to BEKO distributors as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
General knowledge and experience in customer orders, shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions.
Advanced degree in related discipline, preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience (preferred in the compressed air industry or related industries such as HVAC)
Preferred Skills:
Refrigeration experience in dehydration technology for compressed air treatment
Compressed air field technician with air treatment background
Technical degree
High school diploma and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Skills:
Background of a service technician, very hands on
Electrical troubleshooting and understanding of elementary motor control circuits
Problem solving to identify analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner
Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
Speak clearly and persuasively
Willingness and ability to make timely decisions, using sound and accurate judgment
Analytical ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
