The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst is a CoLabs team member involved in many aspects of a customer engagement; from the collaboration with other team members and customers to determine the best solution for our product to the design, development and delivery of software products.  Our goal is nothing less than creating unparalleled experiences for our clients and colleagues.  Successful delivery of the intended solution is paramount, but enduring value lies in executing in a way that cannot be found with any other provider and leaving the client with the best possible feeling of success.  This job can lead to be a Junior Software Developer on the CoLabs team.

 

Role Responsibilities:

·       Analyzing system specifications and user stories to design and develop test cases

·       Write manual test cases following a standardized test case template

·       Execute test cases, document defects, and create reports with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) or Azure DevOps

·       Perform both exploratory and ad-hoc testing

·       Document and facilitate user acceptance testing when needed

·       Collaborating with CoLabs’ team members and clients to identify process gaps and provide the best testing solution on a project by project basis

Required Qualifications:

·       College degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Mathematics

·       Exceptional written and oral communication skills

·       Aptitude and desire for learning new technologies

·       Ability to self-organize and manage your time

·       Ability to learn business concepts quickly

·       Ability to multitask across different projects

·       Willingness to take on additional responsibility to ensure team success and quality solutions

·       Team player that understands how your own work is important to the team's success

·       Ability to multitask across different projects

·       A strong sense of ownership and a willingness to work with team members to drive out successful solutions

·       Ability to work overtime when needed based on project schedules

·       A desire to constantly learn and share new knowledge
