TRAVEL DESIGNER

The Travel Designer is a key role on the company’s Travel team; you will challenge standard marks of luxury, planning travel in a modern, sophisticated way. Our Travel Designers provide personalized planning and tailor itineraries according to our members’ preferences, unlocking access to coveted accommodations, dining experiences, events and more.

A day in the life of a PRIOR Travel Designer is dynamic and varied, encompassing everything from availability checks, and liaising with members to leading the creative conception of one-of-a-kind experiences, identifying undiscovered or underestimated destinations, and vetting new hotels and experiences.

As part of the PRIOR travel team, you will:

  • Design logistical bespoke itineraries
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and members and correspond directly with the PRIOR Operations team to check rates and availability, manage reservations, special requests, and member payments
  • Finalize detailed itineraries, ensuring all documentation is presented in the PRIOR voice and style
  • Manage the dissemination of member materials and departure packages
  • Monitor and report on booking progress Issuing member invoices and tracking trip payments

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience in the travel industry
  • A strong sense of curiosity and a desire to celebrate the diverse beauty of the world
  • Travel experience and industry knowledge is essential
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of balancing multiple assignments and changing priorities while completing all tasks on time and to a high standard
  • Excellent attention to detail and an instinct for managing complex logistics
  • Solutions-oriented, positive attitude, team player
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak multiple languages will be highly regarded
  • Salesforce experience viewed favorably
