Opportunity Overview:

CyberUp, in collaboration with Arctic Wolf, is offering a unique opportunity for individuals residing within 50 miles of Eden Prairie, MN, to participate in a tuition-free cybersecurity training program beginning in August 2024. Over the course of six months, participants will undergo intensive training to earn their CompTIA Security+ certification, a valuable credential in the cybersecurity industry.

Job Description:

Upon successfully completing the training program, participants will be guaranteed an interview with Arctic Wolf for potential employment opportunities. If hired by Arctic Wolf, candidates must be available to work in-office shifts, including 12-and 8-hour days, nights, and weekend shifts, and be comfortable with the demands of a dynamic cybersecurity environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and actively participate in all training sessions and workshops 

  • Study and earn the CompTIA Security+ certification 

  • Complete professional development 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in key cybersecurity concepts and practices

  • Collaborate with peers and mentors to enhance the learning experience

  • Adhere to Arctic Wolf's policies and procedures once employed

Qualifications:

  • Residents within 50 miles of Eden Prairie, MN

  • Available for shift work rotating position including 12 and 8-hour days, nights, and weekend shifts at Arctic Wolf’s Eden Prairie, MN corporate office

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and commitment to learning, but no prior knowledge or education required to be eligible for the training

  • Excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred but not required)
