Role Description: We are seeking a well-versed Online Technical Community Manager to develop content, facilitate engagement, and to monitor multiple virtual technology platforms for Bunker Labs from both an external facing and internal perspective. With a technology focus, our Online Technical Community Manager will work alongside our Veterans in Residence Program Director to manage our Launch Lab Online (LLO) Platform, LLO Facebook community, and our DEI Workshop Series (Asian-American Entrepreneurs, Black Entrepreneurs, Female Founders, LatinX). 

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our Veterans in Residence Program Director to manage our military-connected virtual community 
  • Participate in team sessions to develop ideas and execute on managed projects 
  • Build strong internal relationships with our staff, Development, Information and Technology, and Operations departments. 
  • Work with our Development Team to track grant deliverables for our LLO + DEI Workshop Series 
  • Drive traffic towards Bunker Labs hosted events (in-person and virtual)
  • Assist with virtual events (internal and external)
  • Collect success stories, testimonies, and community milestones.
  • Track business growth resources
  • Dispatch opportunities and events hosted by our sponsors and partners
  • Organize and archive backend engagement data and report monthly
  • Serve as a host for Zoom meetings and drive engagement within the meeting communications


Qualifications for Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Field of Study/Area of Experience: English, Information Technology, Marketing, Mass Communications, or equivalent job-related experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a non-profit organization, or within a community-driven organization
  • Non-profit experience (recommended)
  • Military background or knowledge (recommended)


Skills Needed:

  • Proven experience as a manager in non-profit organization operations
  • Proficiency in technology systems and tools
  • Wordpress experience
  • Knowledge of online content creation and strategy, including Social Media copy
  • Social Media channels experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Experience tracking grant deliverables
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to quickly pivot under tight deadlines and/or changes in projects or business environment
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

Salary Range:
$50,000 to $60,000 annual.
Bunker Labs looks at compensation as a whole picture with salary being a piece of overall compensation. Your individual salary will vary based on experience, education, and skills.
