Bunker Labs, NFP is seeking a savvy Email Marketing Specialist who understands digital marketing and how to develop, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns and automation series. The main duties include running email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email databases, and creating and sending emails and newsletters. The successful candidate must have keen attention to detail, be able to manage multiple concurrent projects, and meet tight deadlines. The position is currently part time (20 hours a week) but will most likely become a full time position later in 2021. 


Responsibilities Include: 

  • Build and send email campaigns for Bunker Labs. 

  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling.

  • Growing our email marketing subscriber list and supporting our lead generation and marketing strategies. 

  • Collaborate with operations, programming and content teams to implement email nurture campaigns. 

  • Understand and help develop segmentation strategies; use internal data resources to filter and target appropriate segments and to improve personalization at every touchpoint. 

  • Optimize current programs by testing new tactics. 

  • Use data to monitor the health of marketing programs and identify areas for improvement and reduce unsubscribes. 

  • Maintain the health of our customer database, including deliverability, cleanup, and data integrity. 

  • Ensure consistency across desktop and mobile templates. 

  • Partner with the Content and IT/Distribution teams to align with visual standards and branding guide. 

  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices. 

  • Help implement new digital marketing technologies and troubleshoot when needed. 


Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. 

  • 2-3 years of email marketing experience using HubSpot and/or Mailchimp. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other CRMs are a plus. 

  • Experience in conversion optimization, messaging, a/b testing, lifecycle marketing, and post-campaign analysis. 

  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational and project management skills. 

  • Familiarity with modern marketing automation technologies. 

  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze, and execute against key performance drivers. 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 

  • Must be open to feedback and have the ability to work collaboratively to move projects forward quickly and efficiently in a dispersed team environment. 

  • High energy — must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency to deliver results and the drive to “figure it out.” 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable communicating reporting, insights, and data-driven optimization strategies.

    Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 annual.
