Associate Position at TeamCivX, California-Based Political Consulting Firm
We are a statewide strategy and communications consulting firm specializing in public finance ballot measures to secure much needed funding for schools, cities, parks, open space, libraries, transportation, healthcare and more.
We are a fully remote CALIFORNIA company, with partners and staff throughout the Bay Area and Southern California. Note: you must reside in California for this position.
We are counting on people who can stay productive and on task without being given specific direction at all times. We expect ongoing responsiveness to email and zoom chat and text during the work day, proactive communication and attentiveness to daily details
Job Overview
The Associate role is responsible for a combination of direct client service and support to the Consultants and Partners at TeamCivX, who are directly client-facing. Collaborating with team members, Associates assist in keeping projects on track, meeting deadlines and preparing materials for each client.
Responsibilities and Duties
Under direction from Consultants and Partners, responsibilities and duties include:

Craft initial messaging documents based on poll results, client input and other research

Write copy as assigned for all client collateral, including brochures, handouts, presentations, websites, social media or other public communication materials

Work with graphic design team to create client deliverables, including logos, advertising and direct mail

Complete all edits and design changes accurately and quickly to support final approval of all materials

Collaborate with production department to ensure deadlines are met for the production of client materials

Tracking and managing timelines to meet project deadlines

Research potential clients, help complete proposals or create strategic plans

Assist with the creation of marketing materials and coordination for marketing events and conferences

Assemble marketing packets for potential clients

Attend client meetings and participate in conference calls as needed

Other ongoing client, Consultant and Partner support related to a project to ensure client success as assigned
