Summary

 

The Project Manager oversees the planning, reporting, implementation, and tracking of projects and project related tasks, responds to existing customer inquiries, and analyzes/reports on project progress. The Project Manager also has a customer facing role, handling customer education, vendor and subcontractor management and internal commercial product training. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships.

Responsibilities

 

  • Take full ownership for projects from opportunity/proposal stage through completion including managing project financials, handling day-to-day issues, conducting project meetings and managing customer retention activities
  • Ensures that projects and related tasks meet the schedule, budget, quality standards, and are managed with department and IQAir standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with Field Supervisor to schedule the work of the Field Technicians
  • Audit installation site locations to assess whether work was done to IQAir quality standards (minimum 2x per month)
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with the goal of retaining customers and expanding IQAir commercial business
  • Manage the implementation of air filtration projects by developing schedules to ensure project milestones are met, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors and ensuring adequate resources are available to conduct and complete the given project
  • Schedule project and customer related activities for Air Quality Technicians
  • Obtain permits and coordinate inspections as needed
  • Develop custom solutions to support the IQAir Foundation and Solutions teams, with CEO approval as needed
  • Write and disseminate work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports, bills, invoices and presentations
  • Conduct on-site and virtual customer education trainings; manage and build customer relationships through face-to-face, phone and email interaction
  • Facilitate meetings when necessary, contributing to planning & decision making
  • Coordinate project resources and liaise with project stakeholders to collect and communicate project details
  • Manage the budget for small projects, or components of larger projects under the general direction of the Manager, Air Quality Services
  • Manage projects and sales activity in the ERP/CRM system, order management, fulfillment, invoicing and case management
  • Monitors customer site filter life and air quality results, communicates and reports data internally and externally
  • Participate in creation and refinement of department and policies and procedures
  • Makes recommendations for development and improvement of IQAir resources and tools
  • Provide support for the Air Quality contact center queues as required
  • Travel up to 20%, determined on a project by project basis within North America
  • Other projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience with sound technical skills
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodology for project management, Certified Scrum Master and/or PMP certification preferred
  • 3+ years ERP/CRM experience;  Dynamics BC or MS Project preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and Skype)
  • Must be able to pass Department of Justice Live Scan screening and pre-employment drug and background screens
  • Clean DMV record required to drive company vehicle to site locations

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base pay range for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000 annually and most new hires start at $80,000 per year.  Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
