HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern.

 

Summary

 

The Human Resources Intern will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resources department. This is a temporary, part-time position (20-30 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files by scanning documents and records into the appropriate HR folder
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records
• Assists with candidate screening and scheduling of interviews
• Prepares HR articles for IQAir360
• Assembles new hire packets
• Provides administrative support to the HR department
• Maintain inventory of office supplies
• Assists with Facilities requests as assigned
• Receives, distributes and sends office mail
• Shops for items to stock company vending machine
• Responsible for the ordering and set up of Happy Monday breakfast each week
• Other projects as assigned
  

 

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
• College senior or graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen

 

Other Requirements

May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

What IQAir offers

Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.  The base pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour and most new hires start at $20.00.  At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
