Solutions Specialist

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Solutions Specialist.
Summary
This position provides sales, customer service and administrative support to the IQAir Solutions Department. This position will also serve to staff the IQAir Clean Air Experience Center as an alternating retail sales associate. A high-level of accuracy and professionalism are required, as the position involves working with customers, prospects, and other companies on behalf of IQAir.
IQAir North America has a retail experience center at our company headquarters in La Mirada, CA. On a rotational basis with the team’s other Solutions Specialists, the Solutions Specialist will be serving customers in our retail showroom by helping customers select the air quality solution that best meets their needs.

Responsibilities
- As part of the Solutions Center email, chat and call queue, answer customer inquiries, resolve problems and convert to a sale when possible
- Interacts with external customers, via prospecting and relationship management to increase sales volume
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and foster teamwork
- Manage IQAir PerfectPro installation projects, as assigned, ensuring quality and timely completion
- Log all activity in CRM to track sales pipeline and ensure accurate reporting of customer activities and opportunities
- Actively generate and manage sales opportunities across both Residential and Commercial (B2B) segments
- Use CRM to produce daily and monthly reports
- Responsible for maintaining FAQs and creating content as needed
- Solicit new HVAC contractors for installation projects
- Coordinate training preparation and execution
- Assist the Solutions team with day-to-day operational issues
Clean Air Experience Center
- Welcome customers to the IQAir Clean Air Experience Center, assess needs, provide recommendations, and close sales
- Direct customers to our Help Me Choose application and guide them through the experience
- Provide a demonstration and explanation of recommended solutions following a Personalized Air Cleaning Evaluation
- Document sales activity by creating or updating customer records
- Process payments by totaling purchases and processing credit cards.
- Retrieve purchased products from storage and coordinate delivery within the Experience Center
- Saturday and evening availability required on a rotating schedule
- Follow all safety equipment requirements
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
- 2+ years of progressive inside sales and sales support experience
- 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred
- Flexible schedule including Saturday and evening availability
- Continuing education in sales training preferred
- Experience with lead generation and coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- HubSpot experience is a plus
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to move 50+ lbs. with the assistance of approved material-handling equipment
- Ability use proper safety equipment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening

Sales and CRM Expectations
- All calls, emails, meetings, and tasks must be logged in CRM immediately after completion
- Maintain accurate and up to date records for all leads, contacts, and opportunities in CRM
- Create opportunities as soon as a qualified sales conversation indicates revenue potential
- Update deal stages and customer status consistently throughout the sales process
- Record call outcomes, notes, and next steps for every interaction
- Meet minimum daily activity requirements, including outbound calls or equivalent customer facing activity
- Actively generate and manage opportunities across both Residential and Commercial segments

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is between $33.65 and $36.06 hourly. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
