The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Marketing team is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager, Digital Marketing who shares our passion for digital media and is skilled in online media and marketing with proven success in creating successful digital marketing campaigns. 


You will be responsible for the entire digital marketing and communications strategy and execution for IAB’s thought leadership event products (in-person and virtual), including the Annual Leadership Meeting, NewFronts, Podcast Upfront, Brand Disruption Summit and more. You’ll lead the creation of omnichannel marketing plans to drive event attendee acquisition/registration. Additional responsibilities will include building search engine optimized event webpages, compelling email marketing campaigns, and directing the efforts of creative development, organic and paid social media, PR, and sponsorship deliverables.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get to do every day!  

  • Develop and execute digital and content marketing strategy for event products, define campaign schedules, KPIs, and ensure timely implementation of digital and offline activity
  • Test new digital channels and strategies to support the marketing plan and event growth
  • Project manage marketing deliverables with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Manage marketing budgets, track campaign results, and suggest improvements for future campaigns
  • Create and copyedit targeted messaging for email marketing campaigns
  • Build audience segments and contact databases for targeting through various digital channels
  • Lead development and production of event videos (explanatory and sizzles) from concept to deliverable based on audience target and event strategy
  • Analyze, develop, and present event marketing plans, attendance updates, and complete event recaps to leadership and company
  • Grow digital and event marketing best-practices across the broader IAB team
  • Developing strategic marketing partnerships with other trade organizations, media publications, and IAB member companies 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in event marketing and communications 
  • Strong digital marketing experience with a record of executing successful digital marketing campaigns through the use of email marketing and organic and paid social
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels 
  • Experience engaging with teams cross-functionally
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, knowledge of the advertising technology and publishing sectors, and a passion for advertising, marketing, and media
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels at member companies and partners
  • Demonstrated experience at project management, managing multiple projects simultaneously and managing outsourced marketing activities
  • Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Word 
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, have the ability to drive projects to completion while managing multiple constituents and be prepared to roll up their sleeves. 


Bonus Points: 

    • Web design and video editing experience 
      • Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, Marketo, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and HTML/CSS
