IAB Tech Lab is seeking an experienced product manager to join a small, dynamic team poised to make major positive and lasting impacts to the digital advertising ecosystem. This Director/Senior Director product management role will be responsible for the health and success of a range of standards in addressability, accountability and privacy. If you know the digital advertising ecosystem inside and out, have proven experience in privacy and/or identity-related roles, and you want to use these experiences for good at the center of a rapidly changing issue area then this may be the role for you. This is a high profile and demanding position that combines product, leadership and program management skills. The role reports to the Vice President, Privacy & Data Protection. Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

  • Working with member companies, trade orgs, and teammates to gather roadmap requirements and own prioritization for a range of addressability, accountability and privacy-related standards, practices, and services
  • Leading Tech Lab working groups and/or software projects to execute and deliver on roadmap 
  • Identifying and advance opportunities to incorporate the broader Tech Lab portfolio of standards and roadmaps into relevant addressability, accountability and privacy work
  • Partnering closely with Tech Lab software development product management and engineering to deliver and support standards related services, tools, and compliance
  • Driving go-to-market activities and market adoption for the products you own, including packaging with related Tech Lab standards that may indirectly support addressability, accountability and privacy
  • Contributing to team strategy creation and evolution
  • Representing your products at Tech Lab and third-party events


  • You have 5 years of direct product management experience and 10 years overall work experience
  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • You can point to a track record of not only shipping products, but driving adoption and scale (show, not tell)
  • You have exceptional story-telling presentation, communication and writing skills 
  • You have experience in the ad technology ecosystem
  • You have experience contributing at strategic, operational and tactical levels up, down and across organizational charts and group sizes


  • Program management skills and experience
  • Hands-on privacy and/or identity experience 
  • Previous experience contributing to IAB Tech Lab, other industry working groups or open source standards
