About Washington Nonprofits

Washington Nonprofits is the state association for all nonprofits in Washington.  At Washington Nonprofits, we believe in the power of strong nonprofits to strengthen their communities. Our mission is to make sure nonprofits have what they need to succeed. Washington Nonprofits has three main goals: deliver high impact learning opportunities for nonprofits of all sizes, be a voice for nonprofits in public policy, and convene nonprofits in ways that strengthen their impact.  We achieve these goals with a strong commitment to equity and inclusion, and respect for regional differences.  Our organizational culture is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and results-oriented.  We value and support learning and professional growth and offer flexible hours and telecommuting options.

Washington Nonprofits is 10 years old. We have a small but mighty team of ten staff members serving over 30,000 nonprofits in Washington. We provide an extensive array of in-person and online learning opportunities for nonprofit professionals and volunteers. We are also a leading advocacy voice on behalf of nonprofits. We seek to connect nonprofits, foster collaboration and unified action both to create a better climate for nonprofits to operate and to improve how nonprofits serve our communities. This position is key to maintaining the momentum and reach that we have achieved.  Future goals include increasing relationships and relevance for communities of color and rural communities, remaining nimble, delivering timely information and ideas, and staying accountable to our members and the greater nonprofit community.
