Jr. Creative Development Executive
Mindshow is currently seeking a Jr. Creative Development Executive to join our Creative Development team. We are looking for someone with experience in talent scouting and pitching who has existing relationships with agents, managers and creative talent. Basically we need a super rad, comedy genius who wants to help us crush the adult animation space.
The Daily
Talent scouting and recruiting (artists, writers, directors, actors, etc.), hiring approved artists, and managing deliverables.
Evaluating and offering creative feedback on incoming project submissions.
Soliciting project submissions.
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with creative talent, agents, managers, and executives at buyers.
Researching rights for books and other I.P.
Accepting additional challenges and responsibilities when asked to do so.
Pitching projects to Networks and potential buyers
The Essentials
3 years of equivalent work experience in a related field.
A network of contacts in the biz.
Comedy Series development and production experience preferred.
Working knowledge of emerging comedy and/or animation talent.
Must be able to evaluate creative submissions such as pitches and scripts, and offer feedback both internally and externally.
Ability to multitask under deadlines.
Values the diversity of people, programming and perspectives.
Displays the ability to work in a team environment.
Has a good taste and a great sense of humor!
