Peer-to-Peer Community Manager
The Peer-to-Peer Community Manager will focus on building and expanding existing peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising programs. As a vital member of our development team, this person will play a critical external role in recruiting individuals to participate in our community engagement programs, including our athletic fundraising community (Reach Athletes), Young Professionals Council, and student groups (Reach Leadership). This person will be responsible for meeting the annual fundraising targets for these programs.
Participant Recruitment and Management:
Collaborate with the Development team to establish and meet annual peer-to-peer fundraising goals.
Lead our growing Reach Athletes program by recruiting new athletes for events, growing the number of events we participate in, and managing the day-to-day working of the program.
Provide resources and support to program participants to ensure their fundraising goals are met.
Demonstrate a meaningful and impactful connection to the Family Reach mission for our community members.
Identify and cultivate a leadership team for each program. Support these teams in their direct outreach, stewardship and fundraising efforts.
Develop a tangible sense of community within these groups and our growing network nationwide.
Identify opportunities for recruitment to community / membership programs through existing Family Reach events when appropriate
Work in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing campaign for each community/membership campaign.
Peer-to-Peer Event Planning for:
Act as the internal lead on all projects and events (both internal and external) related to community/membership programs.
Collaborate with vendors, create timelines, and take events from concept to follow-up.
Work closely with the Family Reach Ambassadors and third-party community members, providing in-house support for their events and fundraising strategies.
Act as Family Reach spokesperson at events to effectively communicate the organization’s mission, increasing awareness, and community engagement.
Project Management:
Prioritize and create an annual budget and timeline for each program.
Complete ongoing analysis of each program, integrating updates to strategy, outreach, and implementation as needed.
Create clear and measurable goals regarding membership expectations and fundraising guidelines for each program.
Meet or exceed revenue targets to facilitate overall growth in P2P programming.
Work in collaboration with the Family Relations team to respectfully integrate patients and families into community/membership programs when appropriate.
Work as a vital member of the Development team in support of the team’s annual goals and objectives.
Position Requirements:
Previous peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising and/or charity team experience required
Ability to represent Family Reach externally with senior-level executives from corporate partners
Experience with email campaigns, social media reach, and scheduled touchpoints to amplify programs
Willingness to travel both locally and across the country (10-15%)
Superior writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and events
Ability to develop strong relationships with community members of all ages and background
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively while working under multiple deadlines
Solutions-oriented with proven success working independently and as part of a team
Experienced in events and management

Salesforce or other CRM experience a plus
