Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications as a member of the Marketing & Communications team, she/he will be responsible for creating marketing content for the organization.

 

A growing national organization, this role requires a stellar strategic thinker capable of multitasking and working well with a small and mighty team. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing Family Reach’s shared properties, driving awareness and attendance for fundraising events and campaigns, and working with the development and programs teams to execute against broader organizational plans.

 

This role will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications and will work closely with the Social Content Coordinator, Graphic Designer/Web Manager, and Communications Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

      Steward Family Reach’s messaging, ensuring consistency and creativity, while collaborating with the broader Family Reach team to develop a deep understanding of various programs, partners, and the community to produce thoughtful, relevant, and highly engaging marketing materials that deliver on Family Reach’s mission, driving desired team and organizational results;

      With oversight from the Director of Marketing & Communication, create, organize, and distribute marketing assets including all photography, multimedia, packaging, promotional items, and anything bearing the Family Reach brand;

      Assist with copywriting including email, blog, ad copy, and website copy;

      Collaborate with Social Content Coordinator and the Graphic Design & Website Manager on content needs;

      Seek and analyze competitor marketing materials both on and offline;

      Maintain project management system to keep key stakeholders informed of project status and timelines; and,

      Perform administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Position Requirements:

      Superior writing, oral communication and interpersonal skills

      Impeccable project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and see them from conception to completion

      Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

      Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

      1-3 plus years experience in a relevant role in Marketing/Communications
