The Implementation Manager will serve as a critical resource overlaying Sales and Customer Experience to ensure domain expertise across both teams and an optimal experience for incoming new customers. Your primary responsibility will be providing technical, functional, and strategic support to prospective clients, and incoming and existing customers ensuring customer satisfaction while moving them forward through sales and implementation processes. Real-life practical examples from your experiences in the cannabis industry will be used in trainings to assist customers and drive product adoption. You will also be engaged in educating our existing employees and new hires on our products and services, acting as a product expert for the sales and customer experience organizations.


Responsibilities


  1. ERP Implementation Planning:
    • Assist sales during technical product demonstrations for large customers specifically on non-cannabis inventory, manufacturing, and bill of materials module reviews to provide in-depth expertise to increase customer confidence during sales cycle.
    • Lead ‘readiness’ calls in advance of contract signature to ensure customers are ready to begin the implementation process.
      • Raise concerns in response to any ‘red flags’ related to incoming customers: e.g. pricing concerns or functionality expectations.
    • Own and evolve the sales-to-customer success handoff process. Manage the transfer of information from sales to customer success, working with Account Executives to ensure playbooks contain key information about incoming customer and corresponding use cases.
      • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing timely updates and seeking appropriate resolutions.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and business processes to design an effective implementation plan
    • Document SOPs for customers and map workflows to Canix product
    • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful ERP software implementation.
  2. System Configuration and Customization:
    • Set up Canix accounts for incoming customers: metrc keys & initial data, including users, facilities, inventory, sales orders, etc.
    • Configure and customize the ERP software to align with the client's business needs and processes.
    • Work closely with the development team to identify and implement system modifications or enhancements as required.
    • Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality, reliability, and performance.
  3. Data Migration and Integration:
    • Develop strategies and methodologies for migrating data from legacy systems to the new ERP solution.
    • Collaborate with the client's IT team to integrate the ERP software with existing systems and databases.
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process, resolving any issues that arise.
  4. Training and User Support:
    • Assist customers with workflow scoping and mapping to the Canix platform, particularly the Manufacturing module
      • Document SOPs for customers with respect to workflow scoping
      • Act as a subject matter expert on the manufacturing module within Canix and provide guidance to support customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Provide ongoing user support, addressing questions, issues, and concerns related to the ERP system. Exceptional knowledge of Canix functionality is essential for success.
    • Travel to customer and prospective customer facilities as needed.


Experience and Requirements


  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in successfully implementing ERP software solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing process in the Cannabis industry, training and coaching to steps in manufacturing a plus
  • Solid knowledge of data migration strategies and experience with data cleansing and transformation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues during implementation.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
  • Desire to maintain expertise on the Canix product, our customer base, the industry and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Project management experience is a plus, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
