The Publisher Success Manager is the first line of support interfacing directly with our publishers and partners. Publisher Success Managers have a solid understanding of the needs of digital publishers and are able to speak confidently about our technology. PSMs have a good understanding of current and emerging advertising products and services (header bidding, video, ad serving, etc.), and a good understanding of monetization strategy. PSMs work with Yield Analysts, Project Managers, Engineers, and Business Development resources to help solve issues and optimize our publishers' destinations.


The successful candidate will display the following attributes:

  • Digital Media Experience.  Leverage all of the tools that the company provides to staff and publishers so you are well versed with  what is happening at The Publisher Desk, but also have the desire and willingness to keep up with our ever changing industry.

  • Great Attitude. Displaying a positive attitude and keeping a level of professionalism goes a long way in setting the right tone with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Understanding and Patience. Our publishers present us with all types of challenges that require multiple iterations 

  • Flexibility. You will be balancing lots of requests and you will need to prioritize them while ensuring information is delivered to all necessary parties. Our PSMs also help with testing our new products and services on our owned and operated properties.

  • Clear Communication.  Make sure that publisher needs and expectations are met and maintained.

  • Technical Knowledge. You should be comfortable with ad tech and digital publisher terms  and best practices (SEO, CMS, Social Media). Bonus points for previous experience with ad code


Responsibilities:

You will work between our clients and internal teams. You will respond to publishers via email, phone, and messenger services. You will also work on monitoring site performance, offering optimization ideas with the help of the engineering team, and optimization suggestions to our publishers.

You will become comfortable suggesting new products and services to our publishers. We are media experts, so if there is room for growth, our clients depend on this expertise to grow their business.


Qualifications:

  • You’re a patient, skillful, and clear written and verbal communicator

  • You enjoy being busy and having steady work throughout the day

  • You have 2-3 years of Client Services experience, preferably in the AdTech world

  • You are comfortable with Google Ad Manager

  • You are a self starter and have the ability  to learn and adjust quickly.
