The Publisher Desk is looking for a remote freelance writer to write 1-2 articles per month. This writer will focus on nerdable.com, our technology, collectible, and vintage memorabilia website. Article types include listicles, reviews, and how-to guides. We also feature content on news and recent trends, so knowledge of upcoming technology products and collector auctions is a plus. You will work with our Digital Content Strategist who will be your main point of contact for assignments and deadlines. Ideal candidates should be able to pitch and execute articles between 1,500-2,000 words. You should also have the ability to turn around clean and concise copy quickly and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Research and source article topics proficiently
- Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time
- Research royalty-free images and/or videos for each post
- Work with SEO keywords
Requirements:
- Have a writing portfolio with examples of past publications
- Photo research required
- Writing window between 1-3 weeks
- Please submit at least one publication for review
- Prior experience covering tech or collectible content
- Bring original topics to the table
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills
