Sportsnaut is seeking a Video Segment Producer that will write scripts, book guests, and schedule guests with Sportsnaut talent.

This position will work closely with Sportsnaut’s editorial team to ensure a smooth, consistent and high-quality stream of video output. 

Responsibilities

• Write scripts for video content for Sportsnaut

• Generate ideas on trending topics

• Create weekly materials and guest schedules for upcoming weeks of production

• Identify and pitch potential guests to production team

• Reach out to and book guests to appear on Sportsnaut shows

• Be point of contact for guests from booking through appearance

• Produce shoots: including researching, booking, writing, and voicing

• Coordinate with editorial counterparts (Sportsnaut editorial leads, social media, other producer/editors)

• Deliver consistent and reliable high-quality content on schedule

• Maintain an efficient and effective workflow process

• Have knowledge of SEO and utilize best practices 

 Qualifications

• Must have 2-5 years researching/writing experience - video scripts and digital posts preferred

• Strong knowledge of sports; familiarity with athletes, commentators, and opinion-makers

• Previous experience and contacts with sports franchises, sports media and former players 

• Reel/portfolio/sample clips preferred
