The McCarton Foundation is a non-profit organization on a mission to bring exceptional treatment and services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We believe in the ability that exists within every child who has developmental disabilities, and that all children deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential.


Over the past two decades McCarton has transformed the lives of thousands of children from around the globe through the McCarton Center for Developmental Pediatrics, the McCarton School for children with autism, and the Children’s Academy for children with speech and language learning delays. We utilize the McCarton Integrated Model, which combines speech and language therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.


Now the McCarton Foundation is launching our new early intervention program, providing services for infants and toddlers diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. We're offering home-based services throughout New York City and center-based services at our brand new center in the Bronx.


We are currently seeking dynamic Speech & Language Pathologists to provide direct Early Intervention services to children from Birth to 3 years of age in a home setting. Interested individuals should have a strong background in working with young children and have knowledge of the evaluation and treatment of infants and toddlers with Autism and other developmental disabilities.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to work closely with children between the ages of Birth - 3 years old
  • Comfortable communicating with family or caregivers
  • Currently licensed and registered to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology issued by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Can work in the Bronx is a plus
  • US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
