Assignment Summary
As a Temporary HR Assistant, you will be assigned to support Benefit Harbor’s Human Resources team with day-to-day HR administration, recruiting coordination, onboarding support, employee records, HR documentation, and general administrative activities.
During this temporary assignment, you will work closely with the Human Resources team to help maintain accurate and confidential employee information, support recruiting and new hire processes, assist with employee inquiries, coordinate HR activities, and contribute to a positive and efficient employee experience. Successful temporary workers demonstrate professionalism, strong organization, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Assignment Responsibilities
Temporary workers assigned to this assignment may be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, files, and HR documentation.
- Assist with preparing, organizing, updating, and filing HR forms, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruiting documentation.
- Assist with pre-employment and new hire processes, including onboarding paperwork and coordination.
- Assist with new hire orientation scheduling, onboarding activities, and required training tracking.
- Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
- Assist employees with locating HR forms, policies, and other HR resources.
- Support employee records, data entry, and HRIS updates with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, spreadsheets, and documentation requests.
- Support employee communications, HR initiatives, and special projects as assigned.
- Assist with benefits, payroll, training, performance management, and other HR processes as needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate completion of assigned HR administrative tasks.
- Identify and communicate issues, discrepancies, or employee concerns to the appropriate HR team member.
- Work collaboratively with HR and other departments to support business and employee needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, compensation, benefits, and company information.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, office administration, or a related support role is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, administrative, or related support work preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete the required background screening.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the Plano, Texas area.
Assignment Schedule
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (No weekends)
Additional Hours: Due to business demands and periods of increased workload, additional hours may occasionally be required, including during high-volume seasons. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible, and any additional hours will be handled in accordance with applicable company policies and law.
- Hybrid Schedule: This position will follow a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of remote and in-office work based on team and business needs.
The work schedule or in-office requirements may be adjusted based on operational requirements and business needs.
Work Environment
This assignment is performed in a professional office environment and remotely as part of a hybrid work arrangement. The role requires regular use of computers, telephones, email, Microsoft Office, HR systems, and other business applications.
Physical Requirements
Temporary workers should be able to:
- Sit for extended periods.
- Frequently use a computer and keyboard.
- Communicate effectively by phone, video, email, and electronically.
- View computer monitors for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.

Important Assignment Information
This is a long-term temporary assignment through Secure Talent LLC dba WorkWell North America, which serves as the Employer of Record (EOR), if applicable.
Although you will perform your work in a hybrid arrangement supporting Benefit Harbor, Secure Talent LLC dba WorkWell North America is responsible for, if applicable:
- Employment documentation
- Payroll administration
- Weekly compensation
- Tax withholding
- Employment records
- Employment-related policies and procedures
This is intended to be a long-term temporary role, rather than a short-term assignment. The expectation is that the position will remain in place as long as there is an ongoing business need. That said, business needs can change, and the assignment could be ended if the need is no longer there. Conversely, if the business need continues and a permanent position becomes available, there could be an opportunity to transition into a permanent role. While we can’t guarantee either outcome, we want to be upfront about the potential paths.
