Job Title: Tech Lead, Musicow US

 

A Little Bit About Our Team

Musicow is the world’s first platform to turn music copyrights into investable financial assets. We’ve launched a native mobile app powered by Security Token Offering (STO), allowing users to buy and trade fractional music rights just like stocks.

Now expanding into the U.S. market, we’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can both code and lead — someone who can build a local development team in Los Angeles, drive product growth, and turn complex financial services into intuitive user experiences.


 

As a Tech Lead at Musicow, you will be responsible for the following:

 

What You’ll Do

 

• Lead and participate in the hands-on development of Musicow US’s mobile and backend systems
• Architect and scale the infrastructure for our STO-based investment platform
• Design and improve our app to make music copyright investment easier and more intuitive than traditional finance — especially for first-time users
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a local U.S.-based engineering team from the ground up
• Plan and implement AI-powered automation and optimization tools across customer support, data operations, and internal workflows
• Ensure technical compliance with financial and data regulations in the U.S.
• Collaborate closely with business and product leadership to align tech strategy with market goals
• Be a proactive leader who voices opinions, proposes solutions, and makes decisions, while remaining open to feedback and team alignment

 

 

Requirements

 

• 7+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a tech leadership role
• Strong proficiency in hands-on coding, architecture, and product shipping
• Fluent in English and authorized to work or relocate to Los Angeles (on-site)
• Experience with backend and mobile development, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), and system scalability
• Knowledge and experience in applying AI/ML tools to increase product and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Experience in fintech, STO/blockchain, or music/media industries
• Proven track record using AI/LLM tools for automation, personalization, or analytics
• Previous experience in startup environments and team building from zero to one
• Bilingual communication skills (Korean/English) a strong plus
