As we continue our rapid growth trajectory, we are seeking a versatile and proactive Information Security Analyst to join our tight-knit team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization’s digital assets. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of information and cybersecurity, making you a versatile generalist. Whether it’s assessing risks, monitoring alerts, or contributing to security standards, your expertise will be vital in maintaining a secure environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Assist in evaluating and analyzing potential security risks across our systems, applications, and networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain our enterprise risk registry.
  • Security Controls and Compliance: Maintain and monitor security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to potential security incidents, investigate alerts, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Security Awareness: Contribute to security awareness campaigns within the organization. Educate employees on security best practices.
  • Third-Party Vendor Security: Assess the security posture of external vendors and partners and ensure compliance with our security standards.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Work closely with our Product Security lead and development teams to document and promote secure coding practices. Align coding standards with security requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records related to risks, incidents, and response actions. Prepare regular security status reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT, and business units, to enhance overall security posture.

 

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • Minimal experience required; we welcome recent graduates.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focused attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Someone who takes the initiative, sets goals, and consistently strives to achieve them.
    • The ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively address challenges.
