Director - Sales Engineering & Solution Management

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer/Solution Architect who will be responsible for
for articulating the Security policies and mapping out data flow with every customer for each cloudlet. Partner with customers, business development & sales, engineering, product management & legal to craft scalable, high security policies that address customers’ security questions and accelerate the adoption of the MobiledgeX platform. In collaboration with other members of the Business Development & Sales team, you will drive adoption across a broad set of mobile operators, developers and device makers. As a trusted customer advocate, the ideal candidate will help address customer security concerns and be able to capture and effectively communicate roadblocks and requirements to Product and Engineering. US based position, ideally based in the DFW area but other locations will be considered. This role is a hands on position without any direct reports.
What you will do:
Map each customers’ network & data flow. Communicate to the customer how data flows from each cloudlet and where data is stored.
Develop white papers that address specific security compliance concerns for MobiledgeX customers in partnership with legal.
Speak with fluidity on Network, Distributed Systems & Policies & Telco grade security calls and flows.
Act as the MobiledgeX Security expert resource for customers’ continuous education on how MobiledgeX is addressing data security as it moves & where data is stored as it moves.
Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of cloud computing, security, mobile networks, mobile applications, industry directions and technical trends & be able to articulate this during the proposal process to customers. .
Maintain working knowledge of edge initiatives & solutions.
Work cross functionally with Product Management, Marketing and other members of the Business Development & Sales team to establish executive relationships.
Assist in preparation of proposals leading the security conversations, statement of work and supporting documents for proposals.
Lead Pilot exercises and other projects in customer labs to validate solutions.
Work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering during the development, launch and continuing refinement of MobiledgeX’s product requirements, roadmap and platform.
Understand AWS, Azure, GCP, private telecom operator OpenStack and bare metal IAAS, and 3G/4G/5G technologies and how security is impacted in those areas.
Work closely with the architecture and engineering teams, ensuring designs meet or exceed our customers security expectations.
Develop technical customer presentations that address all security concerns in detail.
Represent MobiledgeX’s product line, the company’s thought leadership and its strong security posture with customers
What you need:
Expertise in OAuth, OpenID, cloud SSO, deployment methodologies, and standards (FIPS, NIST)
Deep understanding of encryption, including applicable hardware and software for at-rest and in-flight transport encryption, key management, in conjunction with data management and computation of symmetric and asymmetric keys, certificates and TLS protocols
Knowledge of web-based identity management systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, TACACS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field & 10+ years experience.
Experience supporting Telco Operators
Willingness to travel as needed up to 50%.
