Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage complex strategic projects across all participants of our edge community. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and project leadership skills as well as product management experience and solid technical comprehension.
This role will interact with multiple partners across multiple geographies and functional business areas. This position will be responsible for moving progressing projects through well-defined (scoped), documented and tracked engagement models. Internal and external communications will be clearly and concisely communicated on a regular cadence. Contingency plans will be in place and executed upon when necessary and with a clear understanding and communication of the impact to future milestones and deliverables as well as the overall impact to the relationship and business.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and understanding of organizational structures, terminology, etc. within mobile network operators, public cloud providers, and the surrounding ecosystem. You will also know how to manage relationships across many continents and cultures. You also know how to guide the formal setup of customer and supplier relationships.
What you will do:
You will establish best practices for customer, partner and supplier engagement models.
You will implement best-in-class project management practices, frameworks and methodologies.
You will establish project plan baselines for scope, resource requirements, milestones, dependencies, tracking mechanisms, contingency plans.
You will socialize and gain buy-in from all project participants, key influencers and stakeholders.
You will drive project execution from start to finish: tracking activities, monitoring and addressing changes, managing conflicts and resolving critical issues.
You will maintain professional, comprehensive and concise status communications with all key stakeholders.
You will influence the customer/partner in the assessment, planning and management of complex technical projects.
You will handle customer and partner engagement: managing customer relationships by building confidence and trust and ensuring projects progress according to plan by arranging and leading meetings and calls with the appropriate resources on a regular basis and as needed.
You will be integral in identifying, understanding and communicating gaps in MobiledgeX’s product and services portfolio and roadmap.
You will be comfortable and effective in interfacing with Product and Engineering to group, prioritize and track delivery progress of customer and partner requirements.
You will be integral in supporting customer and partner requirements with clear definitions of use cases and ROI on their delivery.
What you need:
8+ years of experience managing complex strategic customer facing programs/projects with a strong understanding of the mobile network operator and public cloud landscapes, business structures, technologies and challenges.
Proven track record of working with large, complex multinational enterprise organizations cross-functionally as well as startups.
Proven Project/Program Management experience in the deployment of technologies in highly complex commercial environments.
Proven Project/Program Management experience guiding the architecting of complex applications into distributed environments.
Ability to demonstrate and influence with strong communication skills in written and oral presentations and throughout day-to-day correspondence.
Ability to identify and have a high-level understanding of general contract issues.
Availability to travel up to 25-50%
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or similar. PMP and/or MBA preferred.
