Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Account Manager to help establish and manage strategic partnerships with Developers globally. This role will be responsible for recruiting and managing Key Developer relationships.

The right candidate excels in working on complex problems and getting things done. Both a true dynamic team player and a super dependable results oriented professional. You will get to work with an experienced team of brilliant people in a dynamic environment to grow a new business that is revolutionizing the edge cloud computing world. Successful candidates will have extensive experience with the Cloud Developer community, preferably globally, as well as experience with setting up and managing relationships with customers.

What you will do:

  • Establish, implement and manage strategic long-term relationships with a variety of Developers globally.

  • Manage and nurture Developer relationships across their entire lifecycle.

  • Understand long-term business objectives of the Developer and various MobiledgeX use cases that create a compelling business reason for a Developer to build on the MobiledgeX platform.

  • Create and negotiate legal partnership agreements for MobiledgeX and Developers.

  • Provide presentations, discussions and demos of products and business concepts and gather business intelligence that will influence the product roadmap and help MobiledgeX achieve product market fit as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Proactively engage others and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues cross-functionally across Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Client Delivery and Call Support as well as to senior management.

  • Design repeatable processes with Developers including establishing standard agreements and presentations that can be used by other MobiledgeX Business Development colleagues.


What you need:

  • 6 to 8 years of Business Development and/or Technical Sales management experience, with a strong understanding of the Developer landscape, business setup and challenges.

  • Proven track record of technical sales and partnerships experience.

  • Ability to influence with strong interpersonal skills.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and demonstrate passion for the MobiledgeX business proposition.

  • B.A. degree in Business or Computer Science required. MBA preferred.
