We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our world-class sales team. You will evangelize our modern Security patching cloud platform to viable prospects with the goal of generating qualified opportunities for our new business sales team. This role requires self-motivated individuals and committed teammates who are passionate about SaaS, high-energy participants in driving the sales engine and are eager to accelerate their career with one of the most exciting new technologies on the market.
Successful candidates will take initiative and follow up on new and existing leads, find innovative ways to create curiosity among Information Technology professionals, and facilitate throughout the sales cycle. Furthermore, successful candidates will possess the desire to advance in their career and step into a role that will provide the opportunity to further impact the success of Automox
THE FUN STUFF
Fuel Automox’s new business sales engine by leveraging an arsenal of outbound techniques and technologies
Collaborate with top-performing Account Executives to build a qualified pipeline of customers
Conduct ongoing research to identify new leads, obtain contact information and begin targeting new accounts
Master the Automox platform and earn certifications that will accelerate your career to the next level
Conduct high-level conversations with Managers, Directors, and VP-level Executives to address business needs.
Map key decision-makers, technical requirements and business processes on all deals
Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
Bring a great attitude as we develop a new team and all the fun that comes with building a great sales and overall company culture
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
1 year of demonstrated success in an outbound prospecting role qualifying net new business opportunities
Self-starter, proactive, motivated, responsible with a passion for driving sales by meeting and exceeding a monthly quota
Excellent written and oral communication skills, professional and confident phone/email skills
Experience working with a CRM system, Salesforce.com preferred
Comfortable with, and enjoy, a challenging sale, helping IT Managers and decision-makers see value in evolving their approach to security
Possess an affinity for SaaS
Technical aptitude to convey/articulate value-based propositions to a technical audience
Practice and preach efficiency and have an intuition for opportunity
You have the ability to work cross-functionally, lead projects, and make things happen
You take what you do seriously, but you do not take yourself seriously. Those without a sense of humor need not apply
