Automox is seeking an Events Manager to drive both internal and customer facing events to support and accelerate revenue-bearing opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an event experience that exceeds expectations through unparalleled expertise, creativity, and flawless execution. This will include sales kick offs, channel partner events, corporate offsites, and corporate sponsored events. This role partners with other marketing teams and is an essential part of the lead generating process.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Drive and develop the overall event strategy from start to finish
Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, objectives, asset creation, event messaging / marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, registration, agenda creation, staffing, on-site production, logistics, etc.
Collaborate with key cross functional teams and leadership to develop an integrated marketing plan that combines campaign efforts, channel strategy, email marketing, etc.
Evaluate industry events and sponsorship opportunities based on Automox’ objectives and target audience
Arrange event logistics, including, but not limited to, event registration, venue sourcing, catering, budget execution, AV/photography support and attendee management
Be a welcoming host for Automox events and handle coordination of participation at events
Travel to internal sales and marketing meetings, trade shows/events, and site inspections as required
Record and report on event performance, such as lead collection, ROI, and post event surveys
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 4 years of experience in event management
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management or related experience
Experience implementing integrated campaigns across multiple channels and locations
Experience managing large budgets and comfortable with numbers
Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills, leaving no detail untouched
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility with works hours as you may be required to work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to travel
Comfortable working with executives and adapting to fluid schedules
Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
Must have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger projects
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision
Masterful in negotiation skills to ensure we are investing resources wisely, with company success and shareholder value in mind
Security industry experience a plus
Experienced in vendor contract review
Proficient in Salesforce & Marketo
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
