Job Description
Automox has an exciting opening for a Marketing Intern to join its Boulder marketing team in 2019. The position will focus on supporting demand generation efforts and marketing communications on both outbound and inbound demand creation tactics (including account-based marketing) for the company’s fast-growing endpoint management solution. Successful applicants should be skilled in marketing, detail-oriented, data savvy, and able to learn quickly.


This is a paid role that directly contributes to the success of the Marketing team and provides exposure to a variety of projects with the potential to significantly expand technical and practical skill sets. We ask for a minimum 6-month commitment with availability to work 20 hours per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

We believe that an intern’s role should be structured in a way that enables the development and improvement of practical business and marketing skills. If selected for this role, you will work on daily tasks and on-going projects that you can expect to encounter and be responsible for as a marketing professional. Potential projects and tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Posting and monitoring Automox’s social accounts including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and weekly on Instagram.

  • Capture, analyze, and deliver social media metrics and offer suggestions for improvement.

  • Manage and update Airtable, team project management tool.

  • Provide logistical support to the marketing team for events.

  • Support Automox’s Boulder Startup week coordination.

  • Send weekly #SharingisCaring content recap to entire Automox team.

  • Gather data and compile reports on campaign performance.

  • Work directly with sales and marketing team members to support ad hoc requests.

  • Other marketing duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • In progress of BA/BS in related field with a strong academic record.  

  • Desire to work in the software or technology industry or B2B experience.

  • Helpful software experience: G Suite, iWork, CRM, MAT.

  • Exceptional in–person and written communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions independently.
