What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk II for our Anaheim, California office.
Our clients are contractors or end users supporting a wide range of industries including water / wastewater, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, mining, aerospace, and more. We offer a number of products and services to these industries such as:
- PLC / HMI
- SCADA / Integration Software
- Thermal & Process Instrumentation
- Custom UL Control Panels
- Industrial Field Services
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Put away incoming material to their designated location/individual while also maintaining shelf organization discipline and proper labelling practices of items and locations.
- Coordinate inventory and project needs with Engineering and Field Tech and ensure that all requests are fulfilled with the appropriate notes.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering to keep a clean and well-organized Warehouse at all times that promotes a hazard-free and safe workspace.
- Pull material from project shelves as requested by Production and verify the contents against the Project Management system to ensure accuracy.
- Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts and collaborate with Purchasing to maintain an adequate inventory of core material while consolidating and rotating stock based on manufacturer and date codes as needed.
- Coordinate with Accounting to research and investigate inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy for all facilities.
- Perform material issue functions against material pulled from stock and coming back to inventory after each production and working with Purchasing to return unused inventory.
- Execute material transfers between facilities ensuring accuracy of inventory and documentation.
- Remotely assist and support inventory functions at the Reno facility including off-site locations.
- Use Warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to band, wrap, and secure pallets for shipping and loading onto the carrier’s trailer.
- Help coordinate maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
- Coordinate and assist with basic facilities, maintenance requests and functions that will also include light janitorial work.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required skills/abilities:
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work positively with a diverse group and multiple levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern ERP systems.
