Cross border payments are growing fast - both P2P remittances and B2B payments as global trade increases - and we’re focused on making these payments faster, simpler and cheaper.

The World Bank estimate that nearly $20 billion is sent to China from the US and Canada annually. We’re building the fastest, cheapest, most secure way to send money via WeChat to China from the US and Canada.

Cross border e-commerce with China was almost $900 billion in 2016 and increased 28% year-on-year, with forecasts that it will continue to grow. There are still many friction points in managing these payment flows though. We’re developing new end-to-end solutions to make these more efficient.
