Prolacta is the pioneer in human milk-based nutritional products for premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Prolacta believes that there is no adequate replacement for human breast milk and, as such, we believe infant nutritional products should be human milk-based. As a privately held, scientifically driven company, committed to improving premature infant nutrition, we are using human milk to change the standard of care in the NICU. Prolacta operates and/or owns milk banks that provide the starting material for the products Prolacta sells.
Job Summary
Due to dynamic growth and a pronouncement from the AAP regarding the benefits of using human milk on pre-term babies, we seek a highly motivated medical sales professional to call on hospitals to sell Prolacta’s line of human milk products. The position is also responsible for maintaining current, detailed customer records including key account information and sales call results. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Meet or exceed sales budget for Prolacta’s product line.
• Develop relationships with territory KOL’s.
• Build relationships with HCP’s associated with territory hospital NICU’s
• Implement speaker programs within territory
• Work with Business Development Director to implement Private Label Donor Milk programs
Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Must have a minimum 3 years medical sales experience.
• Strategic hospital selling experience
• Experience working with hospital C-Suite
• Call points must have included NICU, Neonatologists, and Neonatal Practitioners. Recent work in this area a plus
• Licensed Registered nurse or Dietitian preferred.
• Biologics and reimbursement experience a plus.
• Individual must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong presentation skills are a must.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree a plus

• Clear Understanding of the purchasing matix within hospitals
• Group Presentaion skills using Powerpoint
