The Senior Project Manager will collaborate across functional areas to ensure the successful execution of business initiatives. We are looking for a responsible, articulate, and motivated Senior Project Manager who is viewed as an advanced practitioner in project management with demonstrated success in delivering significant business value. This position will ensure assigned projects are implemented with rigor, integrity, and transparency; driving project work streams and managing critical processes that are aligned with the company's commercial goals and objectives.

• Applying strategic thinking and best practice principles of project management to successfully manage complex initiatives that profoundly impact operations and influence strategic goal achievement.

• Successfully managing concurrent projects that are at various stages in the project life cycle with an eye on stakeholder satisfaction, anticipating the needs of the project sponsors and delivering on those needs proactively and with a high degree of quality.

• Applying full lifecycle project management processes and tools using Prolacta PMOs standardized tools from project initiation and planning, through execution and closure.

Other duties and responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, utilize standardized Prolacta PMO project management tools and processes, and document progress at regular intervals.

• Establish, maintain and control functionally integrated project schedules with input from all pre-defined disciplines to enable accurate project planning and execution.

• Track key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of project and business initiatives.

• Proactively communicate issues and concerns, providing transparency with executive management, project stakeholders and key customers.

• Manage project issues and risks to acceptable resolution, in a timely manner.

• Ensuring assigned projects are implemented with rigor, integrity, and transparency; and continuously drive teams towards benefits realization.

• Using verbal and written communication skills and influencing-without-authority abilities to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization to drive projects to success.

What you bring to the role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or similar discipline.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• 10+ years' experience in driving complex, high priority cross-functional enterprise projects or component phases of larger programs.

• Must be comfortable operating in an environment where scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and expectations are not always clearly defined at the assignment of a project manager; requiring the project manager to work strategically with project owners and sponsors.

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to translate strategy into action and influence results without authority.

• Exceptional and adaptive interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels.

• Thrives with rapid pace and ambiguity; ability to work under pressure, create and manage deadlines and be flexible while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

• High competency in developing comprehensive cross-functional project plans and schedules, from initiation through implementation.

• Ability to produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentation.

• Willingness to coach, demonstrate, and teach basic project management and process improvement techniques to others.

• Basic to strong understanding of other functions such as: Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Validation, Clinical Research and Development, Manufacturing, and Marketing.

• High proficiency with project management practices, tools, software, and methodology.

• Strong application skills (MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Visio, etc.) and understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration.
