The Quality Control Compliance Training Specialist is responsible for executing and assisting with the development comprehensive training programs for Prolacta's Quality Control staff, while remaining abreast of and strictly adhering to current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP), Environmental Health & Safety guidelines, CLIA and other regulations that apply; intricately involved in initial plan design and existing plan enhancements for departmental training; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of tasks; and works below the Sr. Quality Manager.

· Assist with designing, planning, and organizing training programs for QC employees to improve their job skills.
· Assist with the selection of instructors to conduct training and coordinating logistics with regards to lodging,oom location, etc.
· Create surveys and gather input from employees, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives as necessary, ensuring that trainings use a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
Other duties and responsibilities
· Work environment is primarily office and laboratory work though may be required to deliver training in gowned production cleanrooms for on-the-job auditing and training of personnel.
· Record training activities and enter training records in electronic Quality Management System.
· Develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials, and develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
· Assist the Quality Control Compliance team with interfacing with vendors, investigations and troubleshooting instrumentation as needed.
· Prepare training materials provided by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
· Remain current in area of expertise by keeping up to date with journals, books, or trade publications.
· Attend meetings and/or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
· Collaborate with all Prolacta department managers and training coordinators to determine training gaps and resolve challenges.
· Report training metrics to Quality Control Compliance scorecard and own gap analysis and improvement plan.
· Assist with the development of training management SOPs.
· Perform laboratory testing as assigned.
· Writing and Reviewing procedures.
· Additional tasks as assigned.
What you bring to the role
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related discipline and 1-2 years of experience as a trainer or related activities.
· A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Qualifications:
· Familiar with standard training concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
· Educational credential is a plus.
· Candidate may be well versed in adaptive learning, with previous experience in adult learning, and capable of developing materials utilizing 4 main learning styles.
· Computer based training software as well as presentation software.
· Proficient at computer usage including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio preferred).
· Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
· Excellent presentation skills to individuals and groups.
· Ability to quickly learn new software including quality system management software and in-house developed software.
· Quickly adapt to and utilize new technology as training aids, such as tables or mobile devices.
