East Coast and West Coast - Electrical and Mechanical Installers (Trade Positions)


The installation position duties include performing installation and repairs on special hazards fire suppression, attached electronic fire alarm panels, and other related fire alarm and explosion protection system products.


As an installer/technician, this person will be required to travel the state of Florida and be able to be out of town, on average, one (1) week a month, but there will be months where you may not be out of town at all, but others that you may be out a couple of weeks. (You will always be home for the weekends)


Flagship Fire pays for travel to and from the job site. (That’s right we pay for travel both ways).


This position requires you to work closely with end-users, contractors, and other Flagship Fire employees, including but not limited to operations, accounting, end-users, and construction managers. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager and Company President.


We will provide paid on-the-job training, all you need to do is show up on time, be honest, hard-working with a good work ethic. The rest we can teach.


Qualifications Required:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Walking/climbing for 8 hours
  • Driving for up to 8 hours
  •  Manual dexterity
  • Lifting/Pushing objects weighing over 100 pounds


Additional Duties:

  • Prepare for daily installation activity, including completing daily field logs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with FFI work.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment as required. (Company Provided)
  • Properly secure all FFI tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent loss or damage.
  • Will be required to travel statewide to meet customer and job requirements, spending nights out of town.
  • Will be required to provide own tool bag and hand tools. (Pump pliers, wire strippers, wire cutters, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, magnetic torpedo level, a 25’ tape measure, and something to put your tools in are the minimum tools required.)
