The role:

Jiobit, which develops the next generation of location-based wearables, is seeking it’s first Business Intelligence Analyst to help provide data visibility and business insights across our company while also driving our data roadmap forward as we scale. We want someone who enjoys digging into data, finding connections between signals, and serving it up to stakeholders to enable them to act on those insights. You’re a data explorer, process builder, and a designer who loves writing complex queries, asking the right questions, and developing beautiful, yet actionable, dashboards for your stakeholders.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing processes and solutions to aggregate data and present it in a way that meets business needs

  • Overcoming challenges in data management, analytics and visualization

  • Creating and maintaining documentation that includes design, requirements and data schemas

  • Supporting the company-wide data strategy and being a champion of data integrity

  • Automating everyday tasks related to operational needs, product insights, and financials tied to month end close

  • Helping teams with data discovery and developing a process for streamlining reporting and data delivery

  • Designing and implementing reports and solutions to automate business processes and decision making

  • Articulating the meaning behind information to stakeholders across different disciplines (engineering, product, finance, operations, customer experience)


What you’ll need:

  • 4-5+ years experience in data analytics, report building and business intelligence

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail

  • Strong knowledge with SQL or Python and writing/optimizing complex queries

  • Experience creating dashboards and other visualizations using Tableau, Domo, Looker or PowerBI

  • Experience with data warehouse technology like Snowflake or Google Big Query is helpful

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Passion for building automation and efficiency

  • Ability to learn new tools and dig into systems
