Role Description

The Senior Talent Experience Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of a team member centric culture to drive an engaged, productive, and adaptable client centric team.  They will apply their knowledge of Tax Advisors Group (TAG) to effectively handle both core people processes as well as drive meaningful impact through project leadership, in alignment with company and talent strategies.  The Senior Talent Experience Specialist also acts as a role model in support of TAG culture and change management initiatives, demonstrating a collaborative, client centric approach to their internal (team member/leadership) and external (candidate/vendor) clients. 


Responsibilities Include

Manages talent experience projects as assigned to support talent centric culture

Applies analytical, organizational, communication, and execution skills to deliver project work that is effective, business aligned, team member centric and accurate within defined timeframes

Inputs pay related information in TAG’s system in alignment with payroll deadline calendar to ensure accurate team member pay

Supports talent acquisition processes including applicant tracking, interview processes, offer creation, pre-hire checks, and welcome communications

Enables an effective onboarding of new team members

Completes day one orientation

Manages team member departure process

Supports ongoing engagement programs

Applies continuous improvement mindset to refine processes, documents, and systems

Maintains complete and accurate personnel files

Supports annual open enrollment process and communications

Supports team members with leave of absence process and related communications as needed

Addresses questions about policies and processes related to the talent experience

Escalates trends and feedback to key stakeholders, regarding talent experience processes

Completes work products on time with a high degree of urgency and accuracy

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Humanities, Business Administration, or a similar field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

5+ years’ relevant work experience, experience in at least one Human Resources role/function; experience in a professional services, software or consulting organization preferred

Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and strong Internet research skills required; experience also working with SharePoint and an HRIS, ATS, LMS or similar system, preferred

Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and strong working relationships with team members, peers, executive leaders, and other key business stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations

Ability to prioritize time amidst competing priorities to produce accurate, complete work product while meeting deadlines

Ability to drive change in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Possess a growth mindset with demonstrated experience in applying tactical and strategic thinking to deliver practical programs and solutions

Demonstrated ability to translate a business need into a project, define the plan, appropriately manage stakeholders and contributors, to deliver final work product within defined timeframe

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate strategic messaging into effective team member communications

Excellent interpersonal skills with employees at all levels

Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
