Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide regular, ongoing one‑on‑one coaching to sales reps to continually enhance their sales success across the full sales cycle (prospect, develop, demonstrate, propose, negotiate, close); utilize coaching tools including 1:1 meetings, joint customer calls, phone observations, and sales strategy planning.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights for improvement.
- Train and develop team members to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Ensure seamless operation of sales processes and efficient use of CRM tools.
- Recruit, interview, select, and onboard new sales reps, continually improving collaboration through the talent acquisition process.
- Address escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a customer advocate to ensure all service objectives are addressed and met.
- Represent Sales in cross‑functional forums including business reviews, continuous‑improvement projects, and strategy development.
- Implement and monitor adherence to sales policies and procedures.
- Compile and present sales pipeline reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to drive sales initiatives.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
- Work effectively in situations involving shifting priorities and rapid change, leading teams through change with positive outcomes.
- Foster a positive and dynamic team environment that encourages continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of sales management or supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of successful sales experience in professional services or B2B environments.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach individuals to attain sales results.
- Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing training and development to a sales team.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate a sales team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze sales data for decision‑making.
- Proficient use of CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer information.
- Ability to maintain strong, professional customer relationships.
- Experience tracking team performance and implementing improvement plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually for company or industry events/trade shows.
Preferred
- Experience leading teams in a hybrid role/work environment.
- Proficient with HubSpot
- Strong negotiation skills, effectively exploring alternatives to reach outcomes supported by all parties.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation.
- Experience in the commercial real estate tax industry
