Role Description

As a Business Development Associate, you will leverage your sales experience by communicating effectively, utilizing software to track leads, set appointments, and contribute to the success of TAG, while growing your own book of business.

Responsibilities Include

  • Setting appointments almost exclusively via outbound calls utilizing software's like Salesforce or ZoomInfo.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics ensuring that all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Sr. Director, Sales Development and Operations and larger sales team to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress of the sales team.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 1 year inside sales experience; 2-3 years preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in business-to-business telemarketing
  • Strong work ethic and consistent sales activity
  • Ability to focus on setting appointments, solely
  • Ability to work through company phone systems and gate keepers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesloft (or similar sales engagement software) and with contact databases like ZoomInfo preferred 
  • High School Diploma or GED required
